2017 Jerome Farmers Market Wrap up

Now that the 2017 Jerome Farmers Market is officially at an end, we want to express our thanks to the wonderful patrons of this past season. Your loyalty and generosity and encouragement have helped us through another year. When we leave the market at the end of the day, we feel absolute joy, and hope you have enjoyed yourselves as well. It’s wonderful to be a part of this “Feel Good” operation.

We are busily putting the gardens to bed. Before we finish however, we are privileged to thank the following businesses who were so generous with their donations for the Harvest Festival this year:

Mountain View Barn

Idaho Central Credit Union

Hilex Poly

Walmart

Jerome Cheese

Arlene’s Flower Garden

Lee Family Broadcasting

D & B Supply

Valley Co-op

Jerome Shoe & Tack

Starr Corporation

Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce-Kyle Tarbet

59 Creative

Chobani Yogurt donated in a BIG way as well.

They were each so important to the success of the festival. We also want to thank a number of folks who played a vital part of the market's success.  Gretchen & Mike Stone, Kathy & Rex Jessup, Linda Helms, Dennis Ehresman, Yasmine & Mike Arrington, Emma Swenson & Joy, Ranae Capps, Kaela Capps, Jason & Raynie Capps, Lynette Bartholomew, Brooke, Max & Steve Bartholomew, Hilary Bartholomew, Ana Gerstner, Phil Gerstner, OJ Hollifield, Lorna Irwin, CJ McGuire, Kellee Traughber, Michelle Ricketts, Libby Flynn & Dave Bartholomew were invaluable in their selfless service. Our models for the gorgeous posters were Ana Gerstner, Yasmine Arrington, Dillon Schvanaveldt, & Sara & Spencer Cowan. Brooke Bartholomew was the designer with Lorna Irwin as photographer. It takes a village to help one another and that is what we had.

Monies were raised for CASA, Valley House and GED Scholarships.

We thank the people of this valley and all around for their support and joyful gifts. We wish you all a joyous holiday season….being grateful for all we share…enjoying where we live and counting our blessings. We look forward to seeing you the first weekend in June in 2018.

2017 Harvest Festival!

by Jerome Farmers Market, October 28, 2017

The Harvest Festival was a huge success!  We want to thank all of those who braved the cold weather and came to support the Farmers Market. We would also like to extend a HUGE thanks to our sponsors,
Idaho Central Credit Union!

Below you will find just a few pictures of the fun and festivities!

There was a plethora of pumpkins and PJ's had their delicious homemade desserts and winter produce!

Kackleberry Farms had a plethora of Winter produce as well.

We had Witches and Wizards conversing as they waited for some cotton candy.

Spooky treats, with tiny sugary eyeballs and dracula teeth.

Lots and lots and lots of candy.

Homemade breads, cakes, pies, cookies and brownies (courtesy of the civic club).  Festive puddings and chocolate dipped oreos.  Bubbling drinks and shots full of cherry flavored jello.

Pumpkin decorating station.

Photo opps galore!

We had some magic mixed with science thanks to professor Irwin.

Costumes as far as the eye could see.

Even the dogs came dressed up in costume!

And some creative costumes!
Rock-Paper-Scissors.....genius

Costume parade!

Announcing the winner of the $100 best costume prize!

Lucky boy!  He won for his homemade and larger than life John Deere tractor costume!

Below is a little candy cane witch who won best witch costume and her brother, the great pumpkin!

There was also a dance contest and below are the winners.

And of course, no Harvest Festival would be complete without train rides!

Games and the opportunity to see friends and family.

Thank you to all who helped us celebrate the end of the Market for 2017!
