Celebrating the Last Farmers Market of August

It’s hard to believe, but this Saturday is the last Jerome Farmers Market of August! Before we know it, summer will begin giving way to fall, and we’ll be getting ready to celebrate together at our Harvest Festival on October 10th.

But we aren’t rushing the season just yet. August is Farmers Market Month, and we still have one more Saturday to celebrate!

Come spend the morning with us at Moss Greenhouses. There will be great photo opportunities, a chance to take a trip around the greenhouses on the train, fun music, lunch, shopping and plenty of reasons to slow down and enjoy a Saturday morning with our community.

The produce continues to be wonderful. We have some of the most gorgeous carrots we’ve seen this week, along with more sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, onions, potatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches and pears. Cucumbers and other summer favorites are still available, while the first of the fall squash is beginning to arrive. It’s that wonderful time of year when summer and fall seem to meet at the market.

And produce is only part of the fun. Enjoy fresh breads, delicious desserts, caramel apples, unique gifts and all of the treasures our vendors bring each week. Grab some lunch, listen to the music, visit with friends and neighbors, and take a little time to enjoy yourself. The Jerome Farmers Market has always been about more than shopping—it’s a place for our community to gather and have fun together.

Join us this Saturday from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at Moss Greenhouses, 269 South 300 East in Jerome. Let’s give August a wonderful send-off and enjoy another beautiful market day together.

And while we’re talking about fall, here’s something to keep in mind: we are now accepting vendors for our Harvest Festival on October 10th!

We are looking for vendors with amazing, high-quality products that will make this event something special. Space is limited, and we expect spots to fill quickly.
